Is it possible for the Patreon build version of the game to be released on steam? possibly for whatever the game will be listed for when it's released? I'd rather buy the game at full price than sign up for a Patreon.
Yes the full game will be published on Steam once finished. But in the meantime we need Patreon to finance its development. We don't plan to sell it as early access on Steam, because that's often counter productive.
We hope for one update a month, but in practice it's difficult for us to keep up. And there is no release date for Avarice yet, we still have a bunch of story to go through.
Every character, location, scenes is hand drawn, and there is a lot of them, high resolution textures take a lot of space. We might make a mini version of the build eventually, with more compressed and smaller resolution textures, but it's always a pain to maintain several build variations...

hey, i'm realy enjoying the game so far but i ran in some heavy bugs. I'm playing on windows and I have a more than descent hardwear. Sometimes when i try too loot something the game freezes and doesn't open any windows. Some times it doesn't realy matters, it just mean i can't access some loot, but in the very first quest of the game, in the troglodyd cave, i need to interact with a kind off scroll on the ground and I just can't. So I'm stuck. (the quest is called "investigate the rooms up the stairs). Any suggestion for a fix ?
Yes it is. Character dialogues and item introductions basically no errors, sex act words have a little worse, but the information of enemy body is terrible.

You wont be able to unlock versions that were released after you stopped being a Patreon, but you will always be able to unlock all the prior versions. You can download your version in the archives here. You can also wait for the full game to be released on Steam and here, but it will be a while still.
When you say a while, are you talking months, or years? If it's months I might just wait until it's done before resuming my playthrough, if it's years I'll probably revisit it every now and then. :)
I played this looong ago and I can now say, it seems to be glitchier than it was back then. Can't go 3 minutes without a freeze or a UI screw up. I refuse to start over a 5th time.
sooo, big issue, after getting the treasure from the wreck to pay off the debt to the doctor then it would not allow me to leave the map and after killing all the enemies nothing changed so i made sure that i was saved then i created a new save and in that save i could leave the map freely again so i went back to the old save and was still locked, then i tried to press the quit button in the settings in a desperate attempt but then everything froze and eventually crashed, now i have lost 8 hours worth of data with no way to recover it, also no way to export my saves so i could never create a backup, thank you for this amazing game but i will now take my leave, i am a slow player so i could probably re-catch up really fast now that i am not reading all of the lore and taking my time but for now i am done
Ah you were playing the web version. You should try the standalone version then, it's a way better experience, and it has a lot more content than the web demo.
so after hiho walks in on me and the most adorable kobold i have ever seen in any work of fiction, i figured everyone here was free about such actions so i was fine but now i feel extremely sad and depressed since cheating seems to be a thing please tell me that it is not so, i hope she was just shocked a bit, also i hope that later i can raise children in this game since there are so many adorable races that i wish to raise, also one last thing, ALL THE ANIMATIONS ARE SO GOOD! like the people walking or the snakes tail WHICH ROTATES, one of the best animators i have ever seen even considering youtube
This looks amazing but trying to download it and it says "Failed - Forbidden" and from what I've read it's because I "don't have permission to download the file" which I don't know if it's an issue with itch.io or on my part because I usually download games from this website normally
Played the Demo and loved it, this is definitely one of the games I want to see finished the most.
I just wish we had Gold and Sand since it's set before this one(and some characters appear in both games from what I've seen) but it's not a deal-breaker.

We're definitely interested, we plan to have a tool in game itself that will allow people to help translate the game in their own language and fix errors. It's not fully ready yet, but we'll post an update once it's live.
Are there any plans currently to eventually release the completed version on Itch for purchase? I rarely use my Steam account anymore and can't afford to pay for Patreon access atm, just figured I'd ask in case future me can give y'all what you deserve for this gem of a game.

I have two problems..
1- When the game restarts itself on mac upon the 36.5 update, it just crashes.
2- I can't talk to the guy at the green house. The game won't let me talk to him. Is this related to the first problem?
Did you try to download the full 36.5 zip instead of doing the update? 36.5 should fix the green house dude, but I'll check.

combat still bugged in version 36.4. no input is accepted once initiating what i assume to be the final combat of the tutorial area.
Yeah, a patch is coming soon.

in addition, the same "frozen" state was achieved by using parry in the prolog.

Can you send a bug report in game, bottom left button in the main menu, so we can check the logs / saves.

There is no NTR or cheating in the game, and you'll be able to skip scenes if you really want to, but in general it's not an issue.
